What they do

Founded by Dr. Anjali Menon and Rohit Shah.

Synapse turns the way clinicians already work, which is dictation and shorthand, into structured records that a system can use later. Nothing about the consultation changes, and the note comes out clean.

It started in outpatient clinics in India, where the volume is high and the tolerance for extra clicks is zero. That constraint made the product better than it would have been anywhere else.

Why we invested
Anjali still practises two days a week. Every product decision we watched her make was anchored in what happens when a patient is already sitting down, which is the detail most health software gets wrong.
