What they do

Founded by Leo Fitzgerald and Amara Nwosu.

Meridian let people who run a business answer their own questions without learning SQL and without waiting for an analyst. Everything ran directly against the warehouse, so the numbers matched what the data team saw.

The company was acquired in 2025 by a public data platform, where the product now runs as part of a larger suite.

Why we invested
Leo and Amara refused to build another dashboard tool. They spent the first year on the semantic layer, which was slower and much harder to demo, and it turned out to be the thing the acquirer wanted.
